We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical grade cannabis formulations in the United States offering patients and customers premium, high-grade cannabis and related products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Data Warehouse Engineer at Jushi, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making by effectively designing and managing our data systems and warehouses. You will be responsible for analyzing and validating data sources, developing insightful dashboards, and providing strategic insights to executive leadership. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors, you will ensure the success of corporate projects through effective data management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, design and maintain data systems and databases, focusing on data-related problems and ensuring data integrity.
• Lead the API building and loading of operational data (POS, HR, Finance) into Jushi Data Warehouse and BI environment (DOMO).
• Develop comprehensive dashboards in the BI environment for various departments, enabling easy access to key insights.
• Analyze and validate all data sources used for reporting, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage and maintain all data-related scheduled jobs, guaranteeing timely data availability for stakeholders.
• Mine data from primary and secondary sources, reorganizing it in formats suitable for both human and machine consumption.
• Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets, identifying trends and patterns for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Prepare executive-level reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system modifications, focusing on data governance policies.
• Create comprehensive documentation of data build and analysis processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and replication.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum six years of experience in data mining and data management.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining data systems and building data warehouses.
• Experience with ETL processes is preferred.
• Proficiency in gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into actionable data solutions.
• Strong experience with complex queries and dashboard creation.
• Technical skills in SQL, Python, and Excel are essential.
• Experience in the Cannabis industry would be a plus.
