About This Job

The Dutchie team is focused on building payment products for the cannabis industry; making it easier to send and receive money, powering purchases using in-store debit or Dutchie Pay that are reliant on Financial Institutions. We are looking for a relationship-centric individual with payment and FI experience to oversee the day-to-day banking needs for our dispensaries and payment products to address compliance concerns, assist in identifying new banking services and key a pulse of the cannabis banking industry.  The right person is comfortable being customer facing, passionate about growing and leveraging a strong ecosystem to enable growth, understands the relationship between payment products and banks, and is invested in finding solutions to drive the cannabis industry forward.

What You'll Do...

  • Assist customers through DutchiePay and Cashless ATM application / onboarding / activation process
  • Manage and coordinate new account applications from inbound prospective clients
  • Liaise with sales team to assist in the sign-up process
  • Timely onboarding calls to activate payment solution and ensure functionality
  • Conduct account reviews to improve processing volume
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for underwriting
  • Provide ongoing support after activation and escalate cases, as needed
  • Pinpoint areas for operational process improvements 
  • Analyze and maintain data elements that contribute to the Payments initiative

What You Bring...

  • 5+ years of operations and partner management experience, preferably in a fast moving technology or financial services company
  • Extensive understanding of the banking and payments industry and its current evolution from traditional banking products to alternative products.
  • Experience with developing and evolving processes to ensure scalability with a high volume product
  • Strong relationship building skills with leaders and technical teams & the ability to develop consensus and drive stakeholders to a decision
  • Deep analytical skills that can drive the development of reporting, tools and other business processes to smooth operations and enable analysis of nascent industry movements
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Experience influencing outcomes with internal & external stakeholders
  • Strong ability to build & leverage cross functional relationships
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, accountability
  • Project management experience a plus
