What You’ll Do:

The Compliance Senior Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, review process maps and supporting standard operating procedures.  

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of NV state and local jurisdictions cannabis laws and regulations
  • Review process maps and standard operating procedures for business partners
  • Maintain compliance document retention programs and keep corporate compliance updated on all compliance matters and risks
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections/audits, investigations and internal review processes
  • Act as the state compliance lead with state and local regulators and Curaleaf staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Willingness to complete required and recommended training
  • Collaborate and advise other departments such as Operations, Retail, DEC, HR/P&C, Sales and Marketing on risk  

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in federal or state controlled-substance regulatory compliance management
  • Experience in cannabis industry (preferred but not required)
  • General knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and data management software, particularly EXCEL
  • Experience in staff development desired
  • Be able to pass a background check and obtain CCB Agent Cards
  • Willing to participate in an extensive background check
  • Are trustworthy and hardworking
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to focus; attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
  • Skills at using computers, web browsers, Metrc and other software systems such as C-15 and Monday.com
  • Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
  • Absolute reliability and honesty
