As the Area Sales Manager you will: 

  • Lead sales of hemp-derived Cann in Minnesota by being regularly present in the field to help build long-lasting relationships with both new & existing retail partners. 
  • Ensure that Cann is both available and highly visible at retail locations throughout the state, with an emphasis on the greater Twin Cities area.
  • Oversee field marketing in Minnesota to drive brand awareness and trial. 
  • Support & strengthen the relationship with our local MN-based distributor partners.

We’re looking for a self-starter who will drive initiatives with minimal supervision and prioritize high-impact work. Your aptitude to learn new skills and solve challenging problems enables you to thrive in a rapidly changing sales environment that requires comfort with the unexpected. Your ability to play well with others informs everything you do. 

What you’ll do:

  • Support our distribution partner by selling Cann into new retailers across Minnesota, including bars, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, CBD shops, tobacco shops, and more. 
  • Visit existing retail partners weekly to ensure a strong brand presence through merchandising and visual assets.
  • Ensure that we are always in stock, at the right price across all retail partners.
  • Oversee the local field marketing strategy, engaging the brand ambassador team, scheduling and staffing product demos, producing community-building events, supporting retail events, working with local influencers, all to increase our sales volume and velocity goals.
  • Monitor local trends and competitor activities.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally in alcohol, beverage, or cannabis.
  • A true road warrior, you love being in the field more than behind a screen. 
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills; extraordinary listening skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility with key partners, decision makers & influencers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; the first wall doesn’t stop you, or the second
